Is he dead? Was he abducted by aliens in the early 90s? Perhaps he was an angel. Who knows?

I know him from Diner and The Bedroom Window.... never heard of those other movies you speak of.

Oh, and a few years back he was in Lava-rantula by master filmmaker Mike Mendez. :lol

He was in an episode of Goldbergs too last season. I really don't know how these actors can be in everything for over a decade and then just stop completely. I know Rick Moranis chose to stop, but I doubt Steve did.
