Kotobukiya has announced a new series of Star Wars statues based on Shunya Yamashi.ita's art (much like their popular Marvel and DC series).

First up is Jaina Solo.

I had a few of these but ended up selling them. I love the sculpt but if the scale is consistent with the rest of the Bishoujo line then it will be too small for me. It's a real bummer too because they come so nice.

Which ones did you have? The newer Bishoujos are taller and look really nice. :)

I am hoping for some movie universe figures but I think they are focusing on EU. If they are -- I'd love to see: Jedi Leia, Mara Jade, Darth Talon, Juno Eclipse, etc.

I like what I've seen of their Marvel and DC figures, just not a big enough fan to buy them. I'm really excited to see what they come up with for Mara though and some of the other EU gals...Guri, Leia jedi, etc. :yess:

a Koto rep has confirmed that they are not strictly confined to EU.

Here's hoping we'll get some Leia and Padme variations. Would also love to see Aayla Secura and Oola.

I really hope somehow Mara Jade is ready to show off at SW Celebration. If she's not there, perhaps the unpainted sculpt will be shown in a slide during a presentation (if they are having one)

I want a Ventress one! It'd be great seeing her in a more 'sexy' light and these statues display that so well.

Now that the Mythos line is in full swing I would like to see something like this come out of it. I really like this line but it is entirely too small for my collection. What do you guys think?

nothing yet. I think we will see Mara Jade at Toy Fair in February. Hopefully it's the actual statue and not just her control art.
