I'm still surprised that so many people expected this to surpass Avengers 1. ESB made a fraction of SW's massive box office. If the OT came out today the saga would have been rebooted before ROTJ. A1 may very well be the better movie than AoU, I'm probably too biased to say. I loved the Twins and was very put off by how Cap was handled in the first one so it's hard for me to step back and just appreciate it for what it is. AoU all the way for me.

I know Cap isn't as popular as IM but apparently his shield really lends itself well to apparel. When I went on opening day by far the most common t-shirt being worn in the audience were Cap shields. I think people like the minimalist approach as opposed to having a shirt with like a full bodied IM or Hulk on it.
