Doesn't compare to the badassness of lifesize, but here are 2 updated pics of my Hot Toys fig. Still kick ass.

I still think Neca has the best sculpt, the Hot Toys versions have the best paint job though.

Not sure. I picked up a Van Helsing Dracula comiquette for an embarrasingly good price and when I received it, a point on the wind was broken. CrazyGlued both pieces and stuck them together and it's like it was never broken. Unfortunately, not sure if they have CrazyGlue in the UK.
I might just hunt down a model shop during the week to see what i can find. Apparently the glue i have at the moment doesn't dry clear, and i don't want to risk it showing.

Brilliant! Thanks for reminding me about being too young to watch films. Robocop WAS that film for me, I WAS too young to watch it, but I too was blown away like Mr Kenny on the table.
My Dad bought my brother the VHS for his 5th birthday back when it came out (i was 7). At my school, we had to write a diary every monday about what we had done over the weekend, and i wrote about watching Robocop. I wrote that my favourite scene was when Emil gets covered in toxic waste and hit by a car, with his head splatting all over the windscreen. My teacher was so horrified that she called my parents in for a meeting and told them off for exposing me to stuff that could turn me into a killer one day! :lol

Well, it never turned me into a killer. Instead it just remained one of my favourite films to this day.

I haven't got this Hot Toys figure, but it is REALLY good. It would look great next to HT Ed-209. You have sold me with those excellent photos!:D

I'd like to know how widespread the ED-209 issue is as well. Is it a coin toss or extremely rare? Does it affect both the battle damaged and clean versions or just one of them?

I preordered mine originally, and it had signs of deterioration after a year and a half.

When someone first mentioned it here, it seemed like everyone who owned one went to check and if it wasn't completely decomposing, most had early stages of it. That's why I tapped out before getting one.

And that's why I sold mine and more than doubled my cost. :chew Even recently as last week Toy Anxiety got one in trade and it has the rubber coming detached from the ED-209 head. I've only seen this on the first release. Still though, it's quite a piece.

They actually have it up on ebay right now and there are quite a few bids already.

I know, I helped them box it up since I knew how it went back into the box. Whew, I was sweating bullets pulling him apart again. Luckily there were no problems taking him apart.
