[XM Studios] Cable

Cable has been on the back-burner from what I understand.

I received news that the reason why he hasn't materialized is because of the lack of opportunity.

By the time Deadpool 2 arrives its pretty much a definite we will see a Cable. I don't want to get my hopes up, but Domino and Cable would tie in very nicely with the Deadpool sequel.

Sideshow did announce Deadpool PF in time for the film release. It would seem that these releases revolve around major events.

Next year is the 25th Anniversary of the X-Men Animated Series. I hope Disney re-releases this on Blu-ray or something..

That is an extremely huge IF they ever release him. Sideshow said they will release no more x-men this year and 2 for next year. By the time Cable appears you will need to have given your collection to your grandchildren lol.

I always say if an amazing piece comes out now then get it. You can always sell or trade when another version comes out if or when the time comes. Otherwise you may never have him in your collection.

I understand where you are coming from, but for me personally, I don't find this piece to be amazing. I really don't care for it. I'll wait for a possible PF or wait to see what Prime 1 will do with the character. It's not like the old days. There are far more options nowadays and I sure as hell won't drop the major $$$ it would take to secure an XM Cable I'm not digging.

tough call, but Ill wait it out for Sideshow's Cable and the rest of the X-Men line..

for the majority of us its a trade-off anywhere between 3-5 Sideshow pieces for this Cable

I think Cable XM is amazing, but weighing out my options I have more selection to choose from from Prime 1 and Sideshow. And shipping is not a nightmare (yet)

I think the entire Sinister Six and Cable look phenomenal. If they had local distribution id get them all at cost, but I'm not paying after-market on any of these.

XM did a great job on the face sculpt on this one. Bravo. But for the secondary market price. I'll just settle for P1 1:3 scale

The teaser of the Sideshow Cable is, I think, 4 years old. They even removed it from their website and back then Alex even denied it was ever in the works.
Considering their timing, with Deadpool 2 expected for early 2018 and the fact that Sideshow apparently needs "opportunity", they'll probably show something around half 2018. Preorder by end of 2018. Release in late 2019-early 2020. I'll probably be dead by then
