I'll be driving down again this year from Burbank. I tend to just go for one day and drive back to keep this basically a no cost deal. Fun catching up with old friends, seeing what a few key booth are offering and wandering the floor for some neat stuff. Last year I got a hardbound copy of Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein for dirt cheap. I consider it a warmup for SDCC!

Got mine last night. Still trying to put together some cosplay stuff. My new spun aluminum Cap shield will be here Monday! :impatient:

Do Sideshow and Hot Toys ever get a booth at WonderCon? Don't see them on the list for last year.

I'll be there Fri btw, likely dressing up as TFA Cap b/c of the movie coming out a few weeks prior :rock

Nice! Do you have any photos of your costume?

SSC only attends San Diego Comic Con. Which is sad because they're barely over an hour away from Wondercon.

Hot Toys doesn't attend any US conventions. There will be a handful of vendors there who sell them. From my experience, Corner Store Comics is the only one who will have decent prices on anything. I've never bought a HT figure from anyone but them at a convention. Most are at or above Ebay prices.

Do they give like huge discounts on their products?

Thanks for the info, guess I won't be buying anything. I'm more interested in seeing product in development so that's a disappointment, at least Koto and a few others will be there.

Old pic of my costume, this'll be me on that Fri :lol

Oh man that looks fantastic! I love the look of the FA suit. I have a really, really nice shield but my Cap costume is just ok. Working on getting a nicer one, but anything decent is $$$.

Went to Wondercon today. Just got home. Almost won a Hot Toys Wolverine from Sideshow Susan in her "find me" contest. Someone beat me to her by like 5 seconds. But I did get a Sideshow gift card for my efforts. Woot! Overall Wondercon is just an appetizer for SDCC. I had fun walking the floor and just browsing. Didn't buy anything. Saw some fun costumes.
