Ok a question for all you any bands out there right now that have that early Blur or Stone Roses sound?

Are you looking for new groups? The closest thing I've heard that sounds like either is Kasabian, but they're just okay. I did like Ian Brown's 2004 solo album "Solarized". And Pulp's Jarvis ****er has a new solo disc that came out last month. I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet. It's only available as an import right now.

My favorite existing Brit-pop group (and one of my favorite groups overall) is Supergrass. I recommend last year's excellent "Road to Rouen" disc. If you don't have anything by them, pick up "Supergrass is 10".
