I discovered him from a friend a few years ago, and kept saying "how is this not on the radio"? As a true connoisseur of melody I can't help but like Owl City. It's just so infectiously catchy!

Fireflies is definitely overplayed, but keep in mind I had been listening to Adam for years before that song hit the air. And thankfully they only time I hear it is in the grocery store, because I don't listen to the radio.



As to his autotuning: The way he uses it sounds totally different than what we hear in R&B/Hip Hop stuff. They have it turned up to 11, and it gives them that yodeling sound. He never sounds like that.
