Unfortunately, 4Kids Entertainment and Mirage Studios were unable to reach an agreement with Fathom Entertainment to present the “Turtles Forever” special event.

We will keep our Turtles fan base informed as we work on a new distribution plan for this exciting project.

Why on earth would they announce the event, book theaters, generate buzz and announce a ticket presale BEFORE THEY EVEN HAVE A DISTRIBUTOR?!?!?

I have it set to DVR Saturday 11/21/09 on CW, depending on your market.
I knew it was the 80's Turtles and the 2002 Turtles but I didn't know it would also have the original black and white 1984 Turtles. I am really excited for this, what a way to celebrate the TMNT.

Wow! That is how it's done!

Turtles Forever was perfect. As a fan who started with the 80's show as a kid, then went back to the comics as a teen, and now watch the current show with my son, this was the perfect way to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

I particularly loved all the comments about the absurdity of the 80's program. Mutant bananas attacking April? "Nice jumpsuit, do you work in a car wash?" Hunn going nuts over 80's Raph continuously talking to the camera. It was all there.

Also huge props for animating the comic universe. Looked perfect! You could see the rosette printing patterns in the animation!

Simply fantastic. But now I'm even more bummed about not being able to see it in the theater with all the extra interviews and stuff. Hopefully this will get fast-tracked to DVD.

That was freaking awesome! Some weird things (was the original show really THAT silly?), but for the most part it was awesome! Definately an awesome movie and a must see for everyone who loved either show, or both like I do.
