Hi.

I've been looking at a lot of what everyone's been doing, which look great. But I had some basic questions: such as how to glue the heads on to the neck adapters, what type of glue to use, where to find the bodies and clothes, and tips like that.

Thanks for any suggestions!

hot toys truetype bodies are my favorite. you can get them here:

i just use crazy glue to glue the head to the neck post.

as for clothes, ebay is a great place to start. just by typing in 1/6 clothing, or 1/6 suit, you will find tons of outfits.

another great site for 1/6 accessories: https://shop.toyanxiety.net/main.sc;jsessionid=5B001DAEE8E4BF0200D13D4E51B9CE21.qscstrfrnt04

Good advice

HT Truetypes are good

Triad has some great stuff too, but their customer service is crappola and International (non USA) postage is a stinger

Isnt bad either

Some obscure stuff on there

But yeh ebay for the most part, and these boards :)

I use hot glue from a crafter's glue gun. It is cheap and easy to use and if for any reason you need to remove the head from the body it is simply a matter of heating it with a hair dryer. I also use a dremel tool to remove any material from the neck of the hs and do a couple of dry fittings to make sure it is a tight fit but in the event that I remove too much material from the neck, hot glue is very forgiving. You just put more glue in if you need to. I hope that made sense because I am having a little trouble understanding it, myself.
