Yeah, I'd be curious to see where it would have gone. And you have to remember tastes/styles were different when this was being worked on so what seems awful and an abomination now might have played just fine.

And Returns pretty well sucked anyway... so what would the harm have been :huh

Nic Cage doesn't need to be superman to fly, he can just use his hair

TBH, I don't expect much better from the upcoming movie, as I feel that Nolan understands Superman EVEN LESS than Burton did.

if not equal understanding, or Lack thereof.

Clearly they were going for this look with the black suit.

It would have been different, and probably not felt like Superman at all, but I would have still seen it. I love Burton's look.

the weird plastic Technicolor suit was, in fact some sort of holographic power armor that was going to be the eradicator from the comics apparently.

Superman is not a friend to epileptics. Jerk.

Reminds me of the opera dude from Running Man. Hard to believe this never made it out of pre-production.

The more I see of this, the more I wish it was made. :lol

It's just so ____ing crazy. :rotfl

Ok I'll admit I'm not a Superman fanboy, but is this based off of a suit in a specific story/book?? WTF was the idea behind this travesty??

While it's not SUPERMAN, I still think it looks pretty damn cool, especially for that time. Not a Superman suit by any means but the sculpt and lights are pretty brilliant.

near the end when the suit was in regular light and they were showing off the different 'shells' all I could think of was Guyver
