These Madbug sculpts are both amazing and may be the most screen accurate, but I can't help to think they don't have that "scare factor". I just bought the first version so maybe I'll have to reserve judgment to see it in person.

One's sculpts capture that sinister feeling so damn well, they just seem to follow you around the room. I'm not sure if it's because he accentuates the curvatures and depressions of the mask or what, but I love his work. (Hope you don't think I'm dogging on your figure, Memphis. I'm actually trying to put one together just like yours)

That Caine sculpt is amazing too, its great to have different choices. I want them all!

Hey man no worries it's all good , Ones is also a master and you described very well the look of his sculpt. I had plans before to get his new 78 version when they announced for pre order but I ended up changing my mind later on and ordered the RZ 1 DX from Ones. Looking forward to see your figure.

Finally got around to taking pics of this bad guy here. Excellent sculpt by Caine. I love my Madbug as much as the next guy, but I think Caine definitely deserves some praise for capturing that '78 Myers also. Painted and haired by myself.

Yes the classic is better imo to , but a good paint work on the other also makes him shine. The one on the top was painted and haired by madbug I just weathered a little bit the mask ( no professional job tho )

Every sculptor has their own style. I can absolutely see the appeal of wanting variations of the same character.

agreed, paint and hair play a big factor in how a sculpt looks . I have seen some mad bugs in this very thread that have looked average due to the paint. I am no expert though.
