Terminator Salvation blows T3 out of the water.
Say what you will about McG, at least he took things more seriously than Mostow...

Im not a Terminator snob. T3 and salvation were good. This would be my order of great to not so good

#1 Terminator 2
#2 Terminator salvation
#3 Terminator 3
#4 Terminator

Yes The first Terminator is last. Only because its slow. Still a good movie though

I'd use the word "dated".

Thrillers and action films are a lot like comedies as they don't age well. You hear a joke or see an action sequence so many times and they lose their charm. The tension is gone and what's left is a sensation of "get on with it."

Personally Marcus Wright was like Jar Jar Binks for me but... worse. So while I dug a lot of what went into T4 and could forgive most of its shortcomings, I just can't get over that git.

T3

My order:
T1 and T2 at the very top...probably give the edge to T1 though.
T3 is next and Salvation at the bottom, even though I did enjoy it.

WAY TOO SERIOUSLY.

I dont remember any comedy what so ever.

That's good, it shouldn't have had any. If I had made the film, it would have been even MORE bleak. :lol

Anyway, my vote goes to Salvation. I really didn't like T3. It was ok, but nothing really exciting or interesting to me. The only cool thing about it was the ending. Salvation was the opposite, the movie itself has interesting moments and decent bits.. but the very end felt kinda meh. :lol

You always need some comedy. Its the only way someone can relax. Freakin Alien had some comedy in it. Not in the last act obviously, but enough to get the audience to relax before the Alien strikes again/

I would have preferred either Darkartist's or CelticP's Salvation over McG's. Either go full throttle and to hell with your characters or give me some humanity to root for. Salvation's problem, IMO, is that it didn't do either. The characters were boring and didn't do much of anything besides get caught and tossed around by Tossinators. Oh, and listen to tape recorders. :sleep
T3 for me.

die hard is one action movie that NEVER gets dated or old or loses its charm, for me. every time i watch it, it still holds up. and i still find it funny as heck. many of the lines are priceless. now that's a true classic, regardless of genre.

and marcus wright isn't THAT bad, to be compared to jar jar! :horror

Loved Terminator Salvation. The 1st time I saw it, it was ok. But, the 2nd time it was great.
Hated T3. It was a poor duplicate of T2. Added nothing to The Terminator story line. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed the Sarah Connor TV series more the T3.

Dunno... I chose option three but only because I feel that they should have actually made the terminators live up to their "cyborg" designation... not simply having living flesh over their skeleton.

eh I'm getting old.
I didn't like three that much but honestly, salvation wasn't that bad even though it's clearly set up for another one. Lets hope that one isnt another stinker...

This poll needed a fourth option...they're both fine.

T3 was basically a "greatest hits" of moments from the first two, with a heavy hand of ahem, humor thrown in...

TS was different from the others...bigger, broader story, not just another chase movie...
