It's rare when I'm disappointed by a Hot Toys figure, but tonight I'm am. I'm checking out their summer exclusive T'Chaka, from the Black Panther license, and suffice to say it's not one of their better releases for a couple reasons. You can find my full review here:

or you can find the review at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Can you explain your reasoning behind marking down scores for not coming with accessories that they never advertised they'd come with?

I mean, it seems like it would make more sense to review the quality of the figure as is, instead of negging it for not coming with a second head sculpt you would KNOW it doesn't come with when you bought it?

What is the standard these star rating are supposed to stand against? Just your personal desires for each figure?

This is just inquisitive criticism into your process.

Obviously an item - any item, including cars, microwaves, movies, etc. - are judged against other similar products. Your suggestion is to judge it against itself, and other than outright flaws in quality, there'd never be anything wrong.

Sure you can do that... But perhaps in the accessories or an "overall value for the price" section.

Griping about the lack of a second headsculpt doesn't feel at home in a section that looks purposed to judge the quality of the sculpting work?
