I am certain it got delayed because they made the decision to do the japanese exclusive long after the preorders for Baby Doll where completed. They saw the amount of people wanting BD and decided to do another run and call it a japan exclusive.

I can understand that...but Gentle Giant should have just come right out and said so if that was the case.

We've been told several different release dates and so far nothing.

The last I heard about the release date for Babydoll was on their Facebook page which said she would be out late July.

Well this is the last week of July.

It's nice how they can rush out an exclusive for SDCC, but the items we preordered ages ago have to wait.
