I was just wondering what is the best way to strip off paint app on a Head Sculpt.
In this case, a Medicom TDK Head Sculpt which I believe made of a Vinyl.

I'm afraid too much acetone or some sort will eat up the Vinyl.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I use acetone as well. I have been for years. I would suggest using a Qtip with some acetone applied to it for smaller jobs. You can also use a soft bristle toothbrush. Do not leave the acetone on the sculpt for long as it may "melt" certain sculpts.

I use paint thinner with a toothbrush applied under running water to not allow the thinner to eat the plastic. What's important is that you'll need to apply the thinner sparingly.

Thanks for the tips guy.
I use acetone, works quite well. I wash the sculpt after few acetone application.

Very difficult to get the one in the thight spots.

Here is some progress, almost there..

I use Mr.Muscle oven cleaner. Spray it in a bag, put in the part and close the bag. Just leave it over night and next day you can clean of the remaining paint under running water.
