Just a quick question how good bad are the special editions.
I am thinking of getting the Reptile SE as I left it to long and missed out on the normal version (well im still thinking of paying the crazy ebay prices for it).
Is it a ok figure or am I better off just spending the extra money and getting the normal version.

Scorpion and SZ got a 2nd run/re-release, so Reptile may as well. You might want to hold on...

If/when they re-release Reptile, I hope they do another run of Scorpion and SZ. I missed out on those.

Cheers I may just wait as i hope they do another run, I was afraid they had already done a second run, hopefully they haven't and it is coming.
I missed out by 1-2 days.
Reptile is already starting to go for crazy prices, I hate to think what you will have to pay for Sub and Scorp
Make sure you get you Shao Kahn and pre order Goro, those will be hot items once they sell out.

Well now technically they are a bit different besides just the mouthpiece. The MK 1 ninjas had a baggier hood and didn't have those shin/knee guard thingies.....



The MK 1 vest was also smoother and didn't have those indent checker marks that MK 2 had.

Even though they clearly need more fine tuning, the new(old) stuff looks great. Can't wait to buy them in a couple of years lol

The new figures look great, but they are clearly early prototypes, so the final figure will look different, just like Scorpion, SZ and Goro changed. The robots look pretty good already. The paint looks really good on them.
