Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

I have "George Lucas wanted David Lynch to direct ROTJ" flashbacks...

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Finally - I can't wait to see Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, and Kellie Marie Tran reunited after 30 years.

Boyega's on the cover of TIME so he's officially "arrived"!

Shame he seems to be turning into a bit character in SW.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

People are not going to see star wars or giant robot sequel because of him.

So outside of star warz, he's the leader of movies nobody cared about. :lol

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Speaking during an interview with The Star Wars Show, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy stated the franchise will continue with its newly-introduced characters - specifically mentioning Rey, Finn, Poe and BB-8, so make of that what you will - well beyond Episode IX, and that the studio is currently "looking at the next 10 years" of Star Wars films and spinoffs.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

The next 10 years.

Man, I thought things were bad when a movie couldn't stand on its own without a sequel possibility.

Now, if it doesn't have "10 years worth of exploitation" then forget it. Thanks a lot Marvel. Wonderful legacy left to this generation. Eight franchises to be regurgitated into infinity.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX - December 20, 2019

Hopefully she doesn't mean more major episodes. But if VIII and IX both crack $2b globally, I fear this is inevitable...
