We collect dollies. Not much room to judge.

There is a wide range of things done in private which I'm fine with. Its when it is brought into the public that I have issues.

That, and I really don't understand the severe urge to dress up like your favorite character and take it outside as an adult.

Why don't we see more Furries outside?

If Liam is saying good stuff about TPM and JarJar that must mean he is employed again by Disney for more SW.

That would be the only reason any actor would ever say anything good about working in the PT lol

He said that Ahmed Best was going to be the next Eddie Murphy before JarJar ruined him.

What the hell is he smoking.

Eddie Murphy can’t even be the next Eddie Murphy!

Eddie Murphy was lightning in a bottle.

I guess Ed Furlong was going to be the next Al Pacino before John Connor ruined him lol

The above is why I've never been to Comic Con.

Fan-girl Rey and fan-girl Rose (and others who we Luke fans etc) was such an irksome aspect to the ST. Maybe the filmmakers felt making charcters in-universe like cosplayers would make it all more relatable to today's young but it took me out of it.

:rotfl

Or it could be he likes banking those residuals lol

LFL wasn't signatory so doesn't pay residuals for the PT (though maybe someone like Neeson would have something contractually specific to him profits-wise, as the stars of the OT did.) Disney would have to pay residuals for the ST though.

Were you an escort?

Close enough. :lol

It's a manly pursuit. :lecture

I'm not *really* judging. But cosplayers just aren't really my crowd outside of some of the rivet-counting accuracy nuts whose work I appreciate.

Mainly I don't like crowds and line-ups.

I kind of get it. Really not for me, but I get it. Especially when you see some of the care that goes into these costumes.

[...]That's pretty much what he said.

"I like the film. I'm proud of it and proud to have been a part of it," Neeson told Cohen.

That's the part I dismiss as financially motivated diplomacy.

Yeah I was just throwing that ($$$) out there as the only other possible reason an actor would say nice things about the PT. Most don't bite the hand that feeds them if they can help it. :lol

Not what he use to say. His condemnation of his movie was seconded only by Old Ben himself.

Oh wait...I have a vague memory of that.

Only for Halloween.

And I'd still prefer to see a sexy mummy with her bandages falling off than a perfect rendition of a robed Jedi.

Sexy mummy, sexy stormtrooper, sexy vampire, sexy telephone booth, sexy coffee grinder, sexy bookend ... umm ... the list does go on, doesn't it? :rotfl

Blackspire sells really good light and darkside tunics and robes. One set is obi wan from revenge of sith, revenge of sith anakin (only for kids) and darth maul and the emperor robes and tunic for the darkside offerings. Unfortunately, they werent selling the boots or pants when i was there so you cant really complete the full look without going thru alot of trouble making your own, something i would never personally do. I tried hard to get them to sell me the display boots and pants to no avail even tried bribing the manager lol. Surprisingly its very high quality and authentic looking robe and tunic but also expensive as **** for what it is. I couldnt resist the obi wan outfit although ill prolly only wear it on halloween (that is when i get the night off work which only happens when it falls on a saturday or sunday). I picked up the obi wan belt with lightsaber clip as well to complete the upper half look. Its not quite anvos level but its close and good enough for me as a collectors item that ill never really wear lol. Quality wise its way better then anything you would get at a costume shop or ebay- there is no comparison.

You just got to factor in the disney gate fee plus the cost of the item which again gives it a hefty price tag unless your a season ticket holder LA resident

Girls can be quite inventive in turning something plain into something "sexy as hell!".... that mummy costume reference was real, something I saw 30+ years ago, the sexiest damn costume I had ever seen, sticks with me to this day. She had that wrapping hanging just perfectly -- or rather unwrapping perfectly in all the right places -- and her whole head was covered except these blazing blue eyes. Man... I wanted to excavate her right there and then.

I once met a girl at a Hallowe'en party while in full prosthetics. She agreed to go out with me based on my cool costume but didn't see my face until our first date. (To be fair, her girlfriend knew what I looked like). :lol

Hallowe'en's awesome.

Same here - only I was in Eric Draven makeup rather than full face covering!

My most successful hookups happened when I was Michael Myers on Halloween.

I was more successful as Myers than Jason though lol

It’s the mask right....chicks dig the mask.

:rotfl ...something about costumes and sexy everything. I've done okay for myself but for sheer percentage -- I've always done best on Hallowe'en. I tend to go all out with prosthetics and make-up so maybe they dig the artistic ability. Or monsters just make 'em randy. :lol
