Spidey PF Exclusive?

I'm not being critical, just curious, has anyone who says the poly and fabric mix doesn't work actually seen the piece in person? I agree it looks a little strange in the pictures, but I want to actually see it before I make a decision. I heard that the red parts on the movie suit are rubber and the PF looks very similar in that respect. At least if my often faulty memory serves me correctly that is more or less how it was phrased.

If the person who said this is reading this (and remembers saying this as it was a long time ago) and I'm totally screwing up what you said, sorry!

I've seen it in person many times, and I'm the first to say that I wish there was more fabric involved. But after seeing it at SDCC, I have to say that it looks excellent, and I think it will be flying off the shelves after people start receiving it and others see how happy they are with it.
