I've been working on these for a while now, and they're finally at a point where I'm pretty happy. Here are my custom gladiators from the Starz show Spartacus: Gannicus, the first Champion of Capua and Oenomaus, the Doctore!!

Gannicus

I settled on doing his look at the ludus from Gods of the Arena. The only off thing at the moment is the shorts being blue rather than green. He did have blue shorts during Vengeance, so might leave as is just to sort of nod to that. Still debating. And ignore my crude silver drawing on one of the vambrace, it's just temporary.

Here's a quick rundown of the recipe:

Headsculpt: Special commissioned custom from Peter the Painter over on OSW.
Body: CM Toys muscle body
Feet and swords: CM Toys Spartacus gladiator
Lower leggings: Toy Anxiety Gladiator, dyed and weathered
Upper leggings: Customized CM Toys Spartacus (padding removed, dyed/weatered)
Shorts: ACI Spartacus
Leather vambraces, padding, wrist wraps, necklace, belts all custom made.
Rudis: custom made by hand

I tried to make it as screen-accurate as possible overall. I'm very happy with the results. But judge for yourself.

Oenomaus

And here's my Oenomaus. I tried to get as close to screen-accurate as I could. I'm very happy with the results at the moment.

I haven't begun work on the chest piece, that'll take some more time.

Head/Body: CM Toys
Pants: Star Wars, weathered
Feet: painted CM Toys
Rest: Custom

The belts and cloth underneath are all custom. The whip is also a custom piece made from scratch. The leather wrist vambraces are custom leather.

Anyway, hope you guys like it.

Cool! Sweet Gannicus head.

I was too late to buy the bringer of rain set.
There is a new set out with inversed colours, the calm head and some extras. Still debating to get it.

And if you mean the Champion armor set, I got that as well. I got the Silver one since that's more accurate to the show. Except I replaced the head with the Headplay Andy Whitfield. I had to cut the neck off, of course. It's a tiny bit small but doesn't look bad I think.

The Headplay head is better than the CMtoys one.
