I've heard other horror stories about the shipping issues for that piece but the end result is killer. It's hard not to let problems like that get you down about this hobby. Hopefully, given some time, you'll get the itch again.

I don't think it is intended to be shipped without the pallet but it is impractical for most people. I will come round to it eventually but at the moment I am still a bit peeved about the whole situation.
