DOF (Depth of Field) A shallow depth of field is when your foreground is in focus and the background is nicely blurred. Congrats on the T2i, from what I've read, that's a great camera!

Is that an Ikea detolf?
If so, are you sure the glass can take the weight?
Maybe you could use the spare glass to reinforce it or something.
I'd feel a bit nervous!

:D

yup its a detolf...i used two of the glasses it came with too support the weight. holds up fine =]

i was just going to say that i looks like you've doubled up on the glass. also tempered glass can hold quite a bit of wieght, so even a single piece would probably hold it.

how. do. you. know?

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

It's not the glass you have to worry about, it's the cheap ikea welding jobs on the metal frame that give way to the weight in most of the horror stories I've heard.

Looks really nice like that though!

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

When you take a pic, your camera puts that information in the file, that data is called Exif.

There's a addon for firefox called Exif viewer

ohhh ok. thought you were some kind of wizard......:lol

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

okay now you scare me lol...should i use mini zip ties at the ends of the welds for extra support??? i dont want iron spider to get crushed to death.
