Ah, although they are okay, I don't consider either good

VB is just a rip off of other existing parts from different
figures. For them to recast sideshow Starwars (AV) boots instead of making
there own is just stupid. As if collectors wouldn't know....

The wonderworld has a good coat and the corset is okay, but
the cheap catsuit(it's already perma-creasing in the figure photoshoot),
shotty work on the boots, the sculpt and
the fact that they didn't even clean up the casting of
there guns (I'm "" "" several other people that have her).
makes me pass on it everytime. There's not enough to
save there to justify the price point.
Of course that's just my viewpoint...but then again...

Thanks for the links I have to agree the coat on the wonderworld listing is very nice and I would buy that but the rest of the figure isn't really worth the money to me as I have already spent out for a good catsuit and my sculpt.
If any body has the coat and corset and gauntlets etc seperately I would be interested but will wait for now and see what I can find.

That's our original Selene head you've pictured.
Not available through us anymore, but it has been recasted
by several well known recasters in Singapore & Malaysia.
I still see it pop up about every 3 months or so...
Quality is crap in the recasting mats though.
I've made my holsters out of parts of some old DID black leather holsters.
I found some right and left ones on ebay and chopped them all to hell...
Also, depending on what pistols you're looking for (Beretta's or the Walther PP99's)
threre are several you can use. Right now I like the Beretta's. So you can use
either the Triad Enforcer Pistol and customize the end of it(very easy) or I think
CY Girls last figure (perfect killer) had some already made, just like the FS 92 Berretta's she used.
I found some parted out on ebay for a decent price. They seem to pop up a lot latley.
I think they were called " Killer Pistols"
Looks to me like the same one posted above heres a pic.
Maybe not the best but only one I found.
I also found the triad catsuit just need some good boots jacket and pistols and holsters/harness.
Any help would be welcome

Also, I'm happy to say (hopefully this thread helped)
that KAI got down to business
and finished the sculpt.
So I will be adding the KAI head to this figure project.
So look for updated pictures of a finished figure in late OCT.

I had my stencil girl make me some of the
designs off the coat. When I get them I'll post some
pictures, but they are based on the movie corset design below.
I got it in different sizes, so I can apply it to parts of
the trench coat. Then after the design is painted on,
I can use a light clear epoxy to make the design raise.
I also have Witekite working on the necklace and shurikons.
as pictured below. Shurikons will be with blade open only.
It they turn out well(which I'm sure they will), I'll have him
make extras and offer them up to you guys who
are making your own Selene.

Well, I figured Kai went to all the trouble to finish the sculpt and all,
I might as well give him some props...
Later is better than never I guess.
Found the black leather army boots that lace up again, that make such a great base. Guy said they are from a CY girl figure, but
didn't have box so didn't know the exact one.
Maybe some one knows, here a picture of the boots.
Also, I'm using the larger HT Iron man test suit stand
and making a small dio from the final scene of the first film.
Should look really nice when finished.

for that head to make it a complete figure.

Looks like Hot Toys Resident Evil Jill comes with
what looks to be a variation or newer Walther P99 pistol.
I guess it's actually a Beretta PX4 Storm, but with a few mods
it will work nicely for a Selene figure and look like a P99.
Now hopfully Kai's head will come and we can finish this figure for my friend in Austria.

in Austria. We've been waiting a long time for this
Kai sculpt to be done and I just got it today.
It needs a be drilled out a little more to sit right on the
body I'm using, but as you can see, even just popped on
there, it's starting to look like something special.

body I'm using, but as you can see, even just popped on
there, it's starting to look like something special.

Yeah, they work pretty well, just glue the ends on
without the little dumb looking silencers and you
got the Beretta 92fs Selene pistol.
Here's some pictures of the Selene Stand & Tracker Dio.
This is suppose to represent when in the 1st movie,
she jumps down in the sewers tracking a Lycan.
Some details I was going for.
It's damp, dirty and has some blood trails from the
Lycan on the run. If you look close, you can even
see some muddled & bloodied Lycan tracks, a small
sewage water flow along with lots of mud and rocks.
This is suppose to represent when in the 1st movie,
she jumps down in the sewers tracking a Lycan.

Beautiful job!! Definitely worth the long wait, I think.
Thanks. Just waiting on the throwing shurikuns to be
cast up and she'll have all her weapons. I've added a
real custom metal boot knife as well.
