Very cool to see some Hasbro variations. Funny enough, you made a male gorilla into a female. I had taken a Hasbro gorilla, repainted it and turned him into a chimp from the Marvel Terror series. They do serve a purpose.

Another Female Gorilla photo.

I am slowly collecting data to make more figure conversions. I would like to do more but I am having trouble getting good images from the movies. The MRS has authorized the purchase of the movies on DVD to replace the VHS collection. I am skipping Blu-Ray. I already had to replace 250 Laser Discs, and now I am slowly replacing the VHS with DVD.

The photos you folks post are great and very inspirational. I am tring to keep my collection to correspond to the first two movies, but I don't intend to collect Mutants.

Bunkermeister, I think that you just need to replace that chimp hieroglyph with a gorilla hieroglyph, paint the boots black so they don't stand out so much, and your female gorilla is good to go!! She needs to come over to Zira's for a lovely dinner or something. Or maybe a knitting party!! YEAH!!!

I was thinking about the glyph. I have several Gorilla Generals and I anticipate taking the glyph from the General headgear or collar. The Gorilla Soldier has the same color boots as the Female Gorilla, so I think I will leave them that color.

A knitting party would be nice.

Pardon the poor pic. My computer was infected with a trojan virus that I have to get it taken to a shop to clean out. All my not already photobucketed pix are in limbo. I took this one with my phone, thus the poorer quality.

LOL, yeah. It comes with them to keep the hair in place, I left it on to keep it from getting the hair painted as well. I'll have to get better pix of all the Terror stuff I was starting. I've kind of shifted gears a bit and really want to finish my UFO and cop show figures now.

If you are home now Planet of the Apes is on AMC!! Yay! I'm going to rewatch it and just take a break. I have a really bad cold and I really don't have energy to do housework. Damn. I missed the hunt scene. Oh well.

I remember many years ago in highschool that the teacher mentioned that blood transfusions between husband and wife were usually avoided. I always wondered about this in Taylor's case. Today I found something on the internet:

22.Why is it not advisable for a husband to donate blood for his wife during her childbearing years?

Generally speaking, husbands may donate blood for their wives provided that their red cells are compatible in the major ABO and Rh types (or "antigens"). There are many other antigens (weaker than ABO and Rh) that usually don't have to be matched because transfusion of blood containing one of these antigens to a patient lacking this antigen rarely causes production of antibodies (proteins that react with the antigens). When antibodies do develop they don't usually appear for several months. By this time the transfused red cells have disappeared and therefore they escape damage by the antibody. However, for a woman who plans to become pregnant in the future, receiving blood from her husband poses a small risk for the infants of these pregnancies. If, after transfusion the woman develops an antibody to an antigen on the father's red cells, and a subsequent fetus inherits the father's red cell antigen, the antibody from the mother may enter the bloodstream of the fetus causing destruction of the fetal red cells. This may cause serious anemia in the fetus and excessive jaundice in the infant after birth (which could cause brain damage). (These conditions are treated with special blood transfusions, using red cells that lack the particular offending antigen.) For women who are unable to make an autologous donation, the decision to select her husband as a donor should take this risk under consideration.

But I guess that Nova would have been the donor so it would have been OK. Now my question is if Nova's veins are opened up and hooked onto Taylor's veins, then there is no way for his blood to go back to her, since her blood is pumping out?

Here is a cool blood transfusion article regarding husband/wife in 1908!!

I was wondering...with 1900-level technology, how could the apes provide so much water pressure for the waterhose that Julius uses?

Some parts of Conquest are so stupid. Like during Armando's interrogation, where Kolp has him look at Cornelius's photograph...and then his flyer to his circus, claiming that the drawing looks like Cornelius, "like father like son, eh?" That's so stupid.

Hot off the apevine! Bri from Apemania says to watch SNL this Saturday!! So record it for me in case I miss it! STAT!!

I don't know who the SNL host will be. I'm sure it will be Apemania actors wearing ape outfits...I'm just guessing. I really have no clue and Bri says he can't tell us anymore than to just watch it. It's going to be ape related, I am hoping!!

This is what my TV menu says:

Saturday Night Live

Live, Alec Baldwin; Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, (2010) Alec Baldwin hosts the 35th-season finale. Music guest: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. (Comedy)

A high water tank will provide substantial water pressure.

Pumps can be manually operated by Apes or human power outside the building.

Maybe a high enough tank that has a super large volume of water??? I think at that point of the movie, the humans were just pests and were not good for anything other than target practice.
