So I had a spare Kylo Ren helmet and decided to have a crack at the rise of skywalker cracked version. It's not perfect quality by any means (my first time trying anything like this!) but on the shelf it looks great.
Battlefront 2 has recently added this skin for Kylo, it was the perfect reference to get the cracks in the right places from all angles. I pencilled the cracks in first to get them right, then etched them by hand, then painted in with a water based red and wiped the excess. Took around 3 hours all in. I'll probably go in and tidy it up, but quite happy with the first go.
Not sure how to tackle the chrome parts - might just keep it like this...
