Repainted Transformers

I like to share a few of my recent repainted Transformers.

First 2 are FOC Jazz. I wish these toys are bigger! I painted the entire toy and enhanced the red on the wheels with luminous red-orange.

One of the Jazz, I painted with non metallic blue and the other with a tone down pearl metallic blue. For the rest, I think you can tell the diff from the toys to this repainted ones.

These photos are taken on a very cloudy day so, most will appear kinda gloomy.

I adjusted the lightings and this looks more like the actual result.

I like repainting this Shockwave. Too bad, these FOC toys only looks a fraction of what it should look like from the game.

I switch to phone camera, I think it came out better.

And finally, this is one that came out better than I expected.

Several shades of silver paints were used, including some chrome paints. I uses 4 pigments pearl for the final coat and sealed with several coats of clear.

I use only auto paints for all my spraying.

I've been thinking of re-painting my RID Prime for an age but i am having trouble dis-assembling the figure


Love the work tho, looks fantastic, shame Hasbro doesnt put this level of work into the figures originally

Dismantling these toys is a PITA. Prying the Jazz parts nearly tore me nails off my fingers.

The details on the toys could have been better. Hasbro churned out very good Star Wars toys, wonder why they couldn't make TF toys nicer.
