I actually prefer the more realistic skull aesthetic -- but the sockets are massive and too close to the nose. The cheeks also look too flat, they lack the dimension of even a real human skull. This would make a horrid anatomical study as well as a CB Red Skull.

I can't not see a derpy grin in Sideshow's sculpt. XD

Looks good. I just wish they gave him the outfit from the original PF. The cane is an obvious throw back to that.

They always seem to go for the easy to adapt suit, but of the truly difficult (comics Spidey or IM), never!

Yes sideshow avoids the harder to do figures. They act like a regular person kit bashing figures. They could have already done a Dr. Doom figure for example but they figure it's too hard because they actually would have to make a new body for him.
