Spoiler:
I liked it but I think I got the wrong message out of it. I kind of felt depressed after it , the kid seemed to have mental health problems. Snapping at the slightest thing. I noticed it right from the start , jumping on the dog nearly breaking its back. He seemed to hate his family and then even when he met the " wild things " it seemed they were going to eat him if he did the slighest thing wrong and all the creatues seemed to be really depressed too. I bought this for my little cousion who's four but I'm debating giving it to him now.

Have I pulled the completely wrong message from the film ? , I've never read or even seen the book.
What do you think of the opening? The biggest WTF opening i have EVER seen, you will scare your cousin to death with just that scene alone.
The whole film was a " WTF " to me.
Just found it a little odd , I got the impression it didn't know what it wanted to be.
Spoiler:I think the boy just wanted to live in a fantasy world he would be accepted for who he is,which explains why the creatures played harsh and liked to hurt eachother.I don't take this movie seriously though.
