I am a romantic at heart, so this sort of stuff works on my heart strings. That and it's a romantic flick with a sci-fi twist. Like the Time Traveler's Wife. Mmmmm Rachel McAdams.

Had to look up the movie, it was Hellraiser: Bloodline. I haven't seen it since it was in theaters, but remember having some nice gore and a decent mythology.

Event Horizon was an awesome film - although of course very derivative, to say the least.

I've only seen the first 3 Hellraiser films.. I think. After that, it seemed as though the franchise mentality was taking over, & Barker was pushed aside.

As I've said previously - I'm not a horror fan per se'. However, when something reaches the level of true art, then it has my blessing.
