Either way, all over this one like a rash.

I'd take bill over Daniel any day ..i think he works better as an action figure given that he has the knifes n'all that.
I liked Plainview but i only need one Day Lewis in my collection.

I'm a little disappointed. Pettersen has already made this figure 3 months ago.

I actually like when people do the same figure. It
gives us their artistic view on how they think that
figure should look.

Even after I make a figure, I
always help people out when they want to make
the same figure. What do I use for this, how did I
make that? I'm always interested to see their
viewpoint on the how the figure should be.

So kudos to you rainman, the sculpts coming along
great. Can't wait to see the outfit.

Rainman could have been planning on doing this figure for a while, who cares if another artist has already done one ,why should that stop him? ..and these custom figures usually have a small production number of about say 20-30 , so having the figure made twice by two different artists increase the chance of people who like the character getting a figure of that character in there collection.

So has Hot Toys tried to get Rainman to go work for them yet? They grabbed every other sculptor/ figure maker around with a similar level of talent. Or did he turn them down?

This looks incredible, I agree perhaps RM's finest sculpt yet.

I am concerned a litle about one thing, thats the top hat, will it attach with a magnet or anything rather then just "sit" on top of his head. I'm afraid it will take a dive and end up cracked or something, similar to what happened to my first pair of Dude sunglasses.
