I have a box laying around with a bunch of model paint (enamels, acrylics, etc. testors, model masters, etc.) for plastic models. Is this type of paint decent for repaints on headsculpts? I've never done one but been interested in trying it out. Also, would using small tip brushes instead of an airbrush set me up for disappoinment?

Just looking for some guidance and suggestions!!!

I just won this fig on ebay but I'm not too crazy about the hair. That'll probably be my first foray into painting.

You can use whatever type of paint for the figures, but the best are the acrylic ones because they are easier to use. I mainly use Vallejo acrylic paints for painting, because those are the ones available to me, I used to use the Citadel acrylic paints. After painting you need to seal it, I forgot the brand people normally use, but I use the Krylon Cristal Clear, some use the dull coat something, forgot the brand.
