There are certain reviews I look forward to, and tonight's is one of those. I'm loving the Qmx Star Trek series, and their latest release - Dr. McCoy - has just hit my doorstep. Wow! That is beautiful, so much better than the early photos made us believe!

Yeah the sculpt looks great! There's still a bit of excess texturing in the skin but it appears to have been softened by the production process compared to the prototype.
I wish the skin paint wasn't as gloss looking though, it looks like he's beamed down to a hot sweaty planet but it's not too bad, it's acceptable.
I'll be preordering this now and then I'll go back and actually read Michael's review!

Your great review and pics just convinced me to preorder. I was also on the fence with McCoy due to earlier photos but now my Kirk and Spock await their crew member on the planet's surface.

Yeah this is a definite order for me now after seeing these pics. Although I was a bit bummed not to see any shots of him in the medical tunic.

Well, Michael's done it again!
Excellent review, and I will pre-order Bones. The sculpt's still a bit iffy IMHO, but nowhere near as bad as the prototype had me believe and good enough to warrant the pre-order.
The three kings will be complete!

Great sculpt and review! I want the exclusive, but that tunic looks too big for him. Still, I'll probably order that version once they put it up.

Very nice touch making the pinky ring removable -- but I'll keep mine on him.
