Alright guys, a little update here. Since Ryu pre-orders opened a bit late in Asian territories and Capcom wants Erick to sell as many as possible. They have extended and pushed back the closing date for Ryu.

Now pre-order will officially close on October 25th.
This is only pushed back the orginal closing date to about another week extra.

Here is an update on Ryu Production. The QC team reinforced the legs with metal rods, and they even tried to break them, but the failed.

Erick will be in china doing QC in person in December, and will inspect every single peice of the run.

Wow! These are extremely limited.
The only piece that reached the pre-set cap was the 1/4 Evil Ryu.

Fingers crossed that the production pieces are close to the proto.

Erick and his team passed the drop test and have submitted the packaging to very harsh handling, he wants to make sure your product gets to you as intact as possible.

How would everyone feel about prototypez lowering the price by removing the extra bust? We will however give you an alternate battle damaged portrait. Please let us know what you think?

The pros of all this would be lower shipping fees, lower cost of production, an extra battle damaged portrait as well as faster production turnarounds. This will not influence on Ryu , only moving forward after him. This is for future statues after Ryu.

Having the extra bust was one of the traits that sets PrototypezStudios apart from the competition. I vote for you to keep your current business model that you're using with Ryu. All your subsequent 1/4 pieces should follow this trend.

Here is a little update for everyone in regards to the extra bust being removed. Erick is looking to lower the cost to about $550 if he removes the bust. He may very well start with Akuma.

I'm sorry for the people that don't want to lose the bust, but we are looking to lower the price for the consumers. This would be the only way to do so.

Besides this would become a huge issue down the line with characters such as zangeif and honda, they are quite big.

We are sorry to lose the bust, but we hope in doing so everyone will not have to spend as much on the overall price.

Was the extra bust really only worth that much?

I would rather pay $650 and have 2 busts just like with Ryu and Evil Ryu.
