Hmmm. Good point. You're probably right.

It's far more likely that they'll know the Nick designs.

Or both like 'we' have the Fred Wolf and Henson designs.

- that said my son said that the movie turtles are 'grown up' for the move, and much prefers the Nick toon version. Mainly because of the insane number of figures/merch out there and the fact we've watched the Nick toon a hell of a lot more than the PD flick. But he's excited for the new movie regardless.

Re: Prime 1 Studios Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Can someone tell me if the have this spot at the top of the shell? At this price I feel like there should be no paint issues.

And a bit of red overspray or something between the shell and bandana.

Is this just one of those things or should I get a replacement or discount?

I think slight minor imperfection is ok. If you scrutinize super detail, every statue has its defect. =)

This is true.. Just wanted to gauge what should be acceptable. The shell blemish almost looks like something got stuck to it before the paint could finish drying and left residue in with the paint when it was removed. I just don't want something like that to hurt resale value if I ever decide to move it. I contacted secret compass.. I will see what they say.

Good luck buddy. It is nightmare when you sell to collector who is super perfectionist. They will even check the box too.

Re: Prime 1 Studios Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I have no concerns about it. The top of the detolf is very sturdy. I've always placed heavier items on top.

Re: Prime 1 Studios Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

thank you i will try that

Re: Prime 1 Studios Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The weight is not a concern.. Just be sure to fasten the detolf to the wall. It will be top heavy so this will keep it safe incase anyone bumps the detolf.

Re: Prime 1 Studios Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Question for anybody that got Leo, I can't get the sword to stay in his right hand. Anybody else have any issues with this? I can turn it somewhat for a temporary hold but it's not really staying.

Re: Prime 1 Studios Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I don't own Leo but this was posted earlier..

it took me sometime to figure it out as well, there are three things to consider:
- Use the correct sword, the one with the closed end
- Make the blade pointing down (if u placed it the other way, the tip of blade will point up)
- once fully inserted, rotate the hilt a bit, this will make it stick to Leo hand
