Looks much better with a repaint, but I don't have the skills to do it myself, nor do I want to dish out an extra grand to have it done. Lose/lose situation on this piece for me.

I dont order any Ledger Joker Statue up to date and i must say it was not a fail.
I think about the 1/4 scale from QS but my eyes not really the best and i like it a number bigger.
i wait on Queen Studios 1/2. Pictures are really bad, the Phoenix Joker looks also really bad in most Videos or pics.
Prime 1 Blitzway Combo is a step back to me for Prime 1 Statues, get higher price tags and came in lower quality.
the production was really fast same like the Phoenix version, i think this was a fail again.
The later you get the statue, the greater the chances that the painting will look a little bit better due to the experience you have gained

I think literally one person takes it personally hahah.

If anything of all the people that actually own JND on here are equally as critical as they are commending towards them.
Yes there are plenty of constructive criticisms also thankfully

I agree nobody should have to repaint something this expensive, however some of the people who can afford this expensive toy wouldn't think twice about getting a repaint IMO

They replied my chat, this is what they had to say. I think they are full of BS here. They reposted a story of the same early statue shot on their instagram account yesterday.

That reply from P1 seems suspicious. They should be able to tell immediately had their production model not been similar to the one on the left.

More images from the same artist.

It does look better in those Instagram photos. If I cancel my order I lose $350 CAD as an NRD.... I might just ride this one out.

Those look better, but no where near what I was hoping for. I hope they delay it and fix the paint app.

Oh yeah I forgot about that haha they reposted it but now want to give the impression it's not the real one

Yeah I've got some decent painting skills and have repainted quite a few heads in my time, but no way would I want to have to do that for something I paid almost 2 grand for.

I canceled both on Sideshow. Lost my NRDs so I guess that's the last time I preorder anything.
Are you still able to ask them to give store credit? Maybe transfer to an in stock item? Even if it's something you don't necessarily want.... it's better than losing the money altogether.

Sideshow's customer service is great most of the time. Maybe they can help?

Usually Sideshow refunds deposit if it's your first time if you contact them first.

Even with the great repaint, he looks like he's doing the trollface at certain angles.

Okay, want some serious advice here. I has to put down a $350 CAD deposit with my supplier for this one (~$270 USD). Do you guys think I'm better off biting the bullet and losing the NRD, or just seeing it through and selling it off after the fact?
