Re: Prime 1 Jungle Hunter Predator 1/4

Perfect as a combination piece for when you put these bases in your fish tank :lecture :wink1:

.

That plastic plant material will need some work. Some paint washes and drybrushing, maybe some moss or turf applied here and there.
I does look very aquarium store as is.

This set is going to look epic. Pretty cool how the bases even match up pretty good with the Sideshow Dutch PF.

Ok come on, lets see someone photoshop them next to each other.

Are the dreds made of soft flexible rubber? How did they accomplish the poseable head? Ball joint/ magnet?

Why is everyone saying that second mask is from the comic? It's the original mask they were gonna use in the movie.

I think they are confusing people by labeling this as a comic version when it obviously isn't. I'm so happy that they are offering his original mask, I always loved the look of it. They need to alter the lens however, they have given it a mesh visor, probably because it was altered as such when it was eventually used on Gort (A lost hunter) at the end of P2. But originally it had a reflective, black lens.

I don't think the dreads are super flexible. Maybe they're made of plastic and have some give, but not a ton. They seem to be sculpted and posed in a way that suits the turned head, so it must not be poseable.

Agreed. These don't look poseable. And yes, the dreads may be a bit soft to avoid breakage, but not flexible/poseable.

There’s a number of photos showing the Predator looking both straight ahead and turned to the left so there’s definitely some sort of poseablity going on.

I actually don't mind the base at all. This one has me really impressed. I'd change the plants though.

How long do you guys think it will be before this goes up for PO?

Much prefer the look with the open-mandibled head.

This would be great if they changed that base.

The head is the same in both these pics. I dont think it ever looked straight ahead

agreed.

The CM Predator has way more plants on the base itself than this, so I'm not really getting all the aquarium look complaints about it. The Hopper base looks more like a perfect back drop for this statue than anything. It wouldn't look very good just sitting right next to it.

Yep, like I said in a previous post, I think some paint washes and drybrushing would fix these plants right up.
