These look close to scale with each other...

Interactive R2D2 with Disney BB8...and Interactive C3PO with Hasbro BB8.
All 4 from completely different companies.

BB-8 is way to short. Doesn't seem to be in scale according to that last pic of all three together.

The Hasbro RC BB8 is very close if not correct for 1/4 scale.
I'm getting mine professionally painted shorly so it fits in with the PFs a little better.

Really....looks pretty darn good to me.
16 inch c3po and bb look killer....
The $7 oil painting is probably not perfect to architect specs but dam... to have a near match to a random 16 inch 3po is a pretty big win imho.
I'm super thrilled.... shelf looks awesome

I'd just like him to be a little dark, bit of black airbrushing in places etc so he looks a little more worn and less bright white similar to the R2 PF.

Those look great! Yeah, BB8 is just fine scale wise. He's not that big of a Droid. I remember thinking he looked really small when he nudged R2 in TFA.
