Yeah been massively tempted to get this guy as im currently tryong to get a coolprops 1:1 bust to go along my P1 and Wolf busts. Wanting a Prime1 statue to go alongside each head

I know it's kind of hard to tell, but next to that dog, this doesn't look 1/4 scale. Hope I'm wrong.

Looks big enough to me. I pre-ordered it. It?s going to look epic up on the wall above the Jungle Hunter display.

The Infinity is bigger, but not digging that Spider-Man pose...and the P1 looks more anatomically correct, better paint app too.

Plus a gargoyle base will always trump a pile of rubble...

This might actually work. The dog looks "correct" next to the Assassin, but the Assassin is massive compared to the Fugitive Predator at his side (which is confirmed 1/4). Factor in that the CH is crouching and it seems like they're in the same scale.

I imagine the reason we haven't gotten confirmation is because of that license loop hole.

That's understandable, I think we all know what's going on here (subtle) :lol But they could at least give us a picture of it besides the Jungle Hunter which is presumably how most of us would like to display them. We'll all be posting such pictures once we have them in hand anyway.

That’s exactly how I see it...

Damn, I almost forgotten about that Big Game Predator. I pre ordered the Jungle Hunter. One from a Dark Horse cover...and the other from the OG movie.

I think they would look great together.

I might pull the trigger on that one too, lol...

I did a little comparison image of the bios. Both could be better for sure with a few tweaks, the "cheek bone" area on both is weak, and that is what gives the real hero mask much of it's shape. But I think it's clear that the Prime 1 version is much closer to the real thing currently. By the way, I'm not trying to knock them, I love both of these statues. I just love the P2 mask and nobody ever seems to really nail it.

Sweet Jesus why can?t anyone get this mask correct??? I swear the neca 1:4 was the closest.

There were a few bio masks used in Predator 2, and prime 1 studio's is pretty accurate to the one theirs is based on......:)

There were two, a stunt and the hero. And the stunt mask was only visible in a single dark scene (on top of the train) So the hero mask is surely what all companies should be striving for as that is what gives the city hunter his unique look.

By comparison, the stunt mask has a more drab colour and less curves. I have the HCG version and love it, but I don't really want my expensive high end statues to go for this look over the beautiful hero which we see throughout the movie.

Who's made the most accurate hero mask to date?

Again, check post Post #393, that?s just one sample.

I know this is mostly a statue forum, but the best life size bio masks are not the mass produced polystone...as they are impractical.

The best life size bio mask maker that I know of is Casey McCabe. I have not seen another person who matches his bios accuracy, quality, high demand, and reputation, variations.

Graig Bain has one of the best Alien/Predator collections...and he seems to think so as well...

Neny Dee does too...

Casey McCabe can customize your bios anyway you like. He can install an LED setup not just battery power, but AC current as well remote control too, none of that switch by hand crap.

You can even request patina or no patina...

I might have gotten a bit off topic here because these are not statues...but just wanted to show some top of the line life size custom bios.

Extremely friendly. Super honest. Not a salesman hawk whatsoever. Easy to work with.

Sometimes he does have a waitlist, depending on the project...and especially with this pandemic thingie going on.

He?s a member of a lot of Predator Facebook Groups as well.

Tell him Hector sent you...

:wave

P.S. Casey also collaborates with Scott Marshall, the premiere guy casting and molding Predator resin/latex heads/masks. Joe Evans is an excellent painter. So is Darrin Sim out of Canada. All these guys are a close knit group. Talented bunch.

Eager to see some production photos of this. I own the SS City Hunter maquette and for all its flaws, I really like it. It has a presence that says "Kevin Peter Hall in the suit".

I don't normally go for hugely dynamic poses, personally not a fan of the IS City Hunter, nice details but the physics of it don't sit well with me. However, the movie-like pose, nicer hero mask sculpt and proper proportioned spear of this Prime 1 are calling to me.
