Painting clothing help!

SO!
I have a red sweater i need to paint stripes on , can i use normal acrylic paint
And will it drybok and not crack as i dont want to completley ruin the jumper.
Also will the paint bleed into the material or will it be ok?

Stripes will be tricky. If you brush the paint on, then yes it will most likely bleed. An airbrush would be preferable. You will still need to mask off the area somehow. I recommend testing first.
