Hey Guys I haven't seen this posted here yet but Sideshow just put this up on their website

"The Salt Lake City, Utah home of Olympic cyclist David Zabriskie was burglarized recently, with an estimated total of over $200,000 in stolen property that included everything from vehicles to electronics to Olympic medals. Twelve bicycles were taken along with some of Zabriskie’s Sideshow Collectibles figures. Sideshow is proud to assist the Salt Lake City police investigation by encouraging all members of the collecting community to monitor secondary market outlets for the stolen pieces and sponsoring a cash reward for information leading to the recovery of Zabriskie’s personal property.
Greg Anzalone, Sideshow Collectibles CEO gave the following statement on the situation:

The cyclist Dave Zabriskie is a valued collector within our community and a personal friend. All of us at Sideshow think that it’s especially unconscionable for someone to steal Dave’s most personal possessions, his cycling medals, his bikes, and his Sideshow collectibles. I spoke with Dave shortly after he learned of the burglary and he was rather distraught by the loss.

The theft of personal possessions from the Zabriskie family is reprehensible and should not be tolerated within the cycling community or the collecting community.

Consequently, Sideshow is stepping up in support of Dave and his wife Randi. We are calling on the collectors within our community to monitor eBay along with us to track any recent postings by unknown traders in Sideshow products who are listing any of the following items:

*The Hellboy II Samaritan Pistol (metal version)
*The Ash Premium Format Figure from the film Army of Darkness
*The Punisher Premium Format Figure
*The Lara Croft Tomb Raider Premium Format Figure

Sideshow Collectibles is also offering a reward of $10,000 to the person who provides the information that leads directly to the recovery of Zabriskie’s property. Persons with information should call the Tips for Cash Hotline set up by the Salt Lake City Police Department: 801-799-INFO (4636). Please reference case #09-32767.

Let's keep our eyes peeled huh guys? this royally sucks, not just because he's an Olympian but because he's a fellow collector and human being. I know I would be gutted if I came home and my Sideshow stuff was gone.

Pituvision Is been UPloaded!!! to spread the word!!! We will Catch this ^^^^ers!!!!!!!!!!!

WE Need Edition #s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always live in fear that I'll go to my storage facility and open the door and everything will be gone. I think I'd have a nervous breakdown if I ever did. We've been robbed twice, once in our shop, and once they broke into our garage and stole every single tool my father owned. He not only had every tool there was, but he also did woodworking and all those tools were taken too. The worst part was all the antique tools of his grandfather and great-grandfather that were taken. The police did nothing but tell him to file with his insurance. He got a couple of thousand for the tools, but some were worth way more than that.

I feel for anyone that this happens too.
