same thing happened to me...the contact liquid sounds like a good idea..can i get that anywhere..what brand would be the best..does it corrode polystone??

I don't think the brand does really matter. Just be sure to apply it very very carefully, and only on the electrical parts/pins. Don't apply it in direct (don't spray it on there), you should rather use a Q-tip or a line brush to apply the liquid. That's how I would do it.
