Apparently no consumer data was contained on the hacked server.

Good thing is that nobodies stuff was stolen, but it just shows that none of the companies are safe. If hackers want in bad enough they'll do it. Hopefully this'll lead to the turds getting caught soon because I'm getting tired of hearing about this stuff.

The attack was carried out by Lulzsec, the same group that breached Sony Pictures last week.

Nintendo was fast in acting against it, but according to Lulzsec, they meant no harm.

Lulzsec tweeted it had taken one file but "we didn't mean any harm. Nintendo had already fixed it anyway."
