Well...despite the fact that it was just the first pre-season game in a year where there was very limited preparation for it, it was great to see the Steelers play yesterday. I got to see part of the game until it was preempted by the Arena Football League Championship game. I was surprised as the guide said it would be a different game.

I will catch the whole thing today.

I am a happy camper that football is back.

Damn! I grabbed the remote to turn the game on and my wife did some kind of hocus pocus and transformed my remote into a honey do list.

I missed the game.

Daunte Culpepper looking to sign with the 49ers (as a third-stringer, of course). Interesting.

I just wonder how long it will be before the Steelers end up in a really bad restructuring time. They have done well enough for a long time with relatively few bad years. But every team has to go through the down along with the ups eventually.

Rex Grossman is no longer the starting QB for the Skins. I guess his NFC title is now out of the question. :rotfl

Who will have the less wins. The Skins or the Bengals?

PS3 getting NFL Sunday Ticket!

Hello PlayStation Nation!

Are you ready for some football!

We are excited to announce that PlayStation has partnered with DIRECTV to bring its popular sports subscription service, NFL SUNDAY TICKET, to the PlayStation 3 game console. PlayStation owners across the country will now have the opportunity to watch every out-of-market Sunday game on their PS3.

DIRECTV and PlayStation announce NFL SUNDAY TICKET on PS3

How do you get in the game? At the start of the season, viewers who do not currently have access to DIRECTV will be able to subscribe to NFL SUNDAY TICKET at the season price of $339.95. Existing DIRECTV customers can access the service on their PS3 for an additional $50 and use the PS3 as an additional receiver for your home.

NFL SUNDAY TICKET is a DIRECTV-exclusive sports package that offers:

Up to 14 NFL games every Sunday
Full HD for every football game
DIRECTV’s Red Zone Channel

We know that PlayStation fans are huge sports enthusiasts, so adding NFL SUNDAY TICKET is the perfect complement to the PS3’s rapidly growing lineup of sports entertainment, including MLB.TV and NHL GameCenter. We’ll have more info, including a video tutorial and sign up information on the blog shortly. I hope you’re as excited for the football season as we are.

direct tv must figure interest in the NFL will be down this year lol
Looking for a new way to make $ IMO. They did just give away sunday ticket to anyone who switched to DTV. I know they did it in the past for anyone who signed up for highest package but now you get it for free with a $40 package.

Ummm...well...OK...

I'm very tempted but i wish there was a way to get it cheaper... I have never done Sunday Ticket before, when you pay that much do you still have to watch commercials every 10 minutes?

If you're watching a game you'll have the commercials no matter what. But if you watch the Red Zone Channel there aren't any commercials.
