I saw that... they really nailed the MotU aesthetic perfectly. I can’t wait to see those power armours having shootouts between tall skyscrapers in neon and rain soaked cityscapes, just like in our favourite episodes!

“Goyer has decided to step away as director to focus on other projects - though he will remain on board as an executive producer and screenwriter.

Despite Goyer's departure, the studio is said to be very happy with the script he turned in and is currently meeting with potential replacements. All going well, Masters of The Universe will still meet its currently scheduled Dec. 18, 2019 release date.“

Good news as Goyer behind the camera is never a good thing, although I’m not so sure this movie will be good under any circumstances at this point.
