Rit dye works wonders. I don't know how to do anything and I even managed to dye mine dark brown!

Yeah man, they're definitely dark brown. Sometimes it's hard to tell.

Some of the lighting in the shots makes them look more gray, but in all of the naturally lit shots they are clearly brown.

I managed to paint the pants, they look much better now. I would have dyed them, but the thread probably would have stayed the original colour.

I got rid of his bag too. I did'nt like the strap. It was something I sewed together using some scraps. It was way off-colour too. (Well on camera it looked much lighter than what it was.) So I'll buy a better one later.

Thanks! I actually did dye them but the didn't come out dark enough so I'm probably going to dye them again.

Finally finished kit-bash for this figure. I'll post some pics soon but I like the way it came out. I enjoy 1/6 customs but man can these things get expensive.

I have the John Connor Jacket (which is dyed black),

the Sarah Connor M4 assault rifle (which is mostly accurate)

and a "customized" bag with the sling

as well as some dark grey shirts (the shirt he wears underneath)

and some hot toys truetype African American ADV. body (new)

AND the unpainted castings of both WITH and WITHOUT neck.
I will paint some for any interested as well ($80 per repaint, limited time only, since I don't usually paint)
