It might be me, but I think the Blue Base that is supposed to hold the S-Shield up is upside down.

I'm trying to get my Supes to look downward or even level. It always looks like he is looking up. Is there some way to finagle the connection to allow a better range of movement?

The neck has two points of articulation inside the rubber neck. The bottom of the neck has a ball joint attached to a narrow tube and on top of that tube is another ball joint attached to the face. This means you can push back or forward the rubber neck and then swivel the head back or forward. It's not a massive movement but it should be enough to allow you to make that face look down a little or at least straight on.

Bit the bullet this morning and ordered Supes... I figure when Batman and Joker hit next year, I'd be kicking myself for not buying Superman when I had the chance.

You should work on your timing... Taking it out as they open the door when you're picking them up will usually end with you not using it.

I've worked on tweaking the pose a bit and both arms down doesn't work with the way I have the right shoulder up. I need to do my usual major futzing overhaul yet and cut any loose strings, so at that time I'll just start from square one with this pose.

Nice pose Maglor.
Maybe it's not the right arm that is the problem, but rather the right shoulder that sits a bit to high? But like rubio mentioned, the pose doesn't really fit with the relaxed face. Still nice scene though.

You may be right about that...
