Where are you seeing DX exclusives for double the price? Isn't it an extra $5 for all but punisher who, admittedly, is crazy expensive at $130 but I've not seen him at $160 anywhere.
I too am pissed about the masked head, had a wee argument on FB with Mez about it, but the above seems unnecessarily exaggerated.

Do you remember the retail cost of these figures when they came out?!?! I believe they were $65 - $70 dollars. I have 4 TDKR Batmen and 2 Dredds. All bought at retail price.

You're right, it's $130 bucks...but does that really make it better? It's still more than twice the original SRP and this line is only 2-3 years old Plus they dropped one of the best accessories to the set.

LOL at the Batman being half covered with his cape, and all of him totally bathed in shadows so you can barely make out what many of us aren't liking about the figure! I know he's the Dark Knight (DARKNESS! NO PARENTS! after all), but it's like they know how bad the figure turned out from the neck down!

While not representative of any specific source material, and definitely featuring Mezco interpretations, I like what I see from this line. I'm good with the artistic license they take on some of these...hell, every decent comic artist takes their own spin on Batman, Iron Man, Superman, etc in every series. As long as it is qualified as something like "Ascending Knight" and not labeled a version previously created, I can get behind lace up boots and line work costume and bat bricks.
