Keeping everything a secret instead of using it to generate interest and hype for a movie...the one being billed as the final chapter of the entire Skywalker series, is shortsighted and leaves money on the table. If this were the pre-Disney era, "Force Friday" would have left us with an array of books, a movie-named figure line and a bevy of other fun stuff to generate excitement. None of that now.

What fills the void is a lot of negative discussion and failure-infused speculation. It's sad.

Even the roll out of the Baby Yoda could have been handled with a fun nostalgic bent like an empty collector box like the classic "early bird" set from the seventies.

That's what I mean when I say TROS is DOA. There is almost a lack of interest in nurturing and maintaining a collector fan base...almost like it's been relegated to 'Legends' by the hallowed story group or something .

All they're doing is letting The Mandalorian breathe. It would make no sense to pump the hell out of TROS to bury the first live action Star Wars TV show ever. They have all of next year to run with TROS.

Hasbro had heavy mandalorian figures ready to go, you think they have nothing for TROS or something? It's not dead on arrival, it hasn't arrived yet. In no other time have we had 2 giant Star Wars things launch within 2 months of each other. Doing it any other way would be stupid.
