LOTR trilogy comming soon on HD DVD

I hope they wait a bit, and let the formats settle down. I'd like to see a really well thought out release. I know many (most?) will disagree with this, but I'd love to see PJ & WETA go back to the films having had some distance from them for a while, and do another round of tweaks & FX cleanups.

I agrees on this, and releasing the movies on a new format is a good time to do such a cleanup...
